2019 Hafez Awards announces nominees

The 19th edition of Hafez Awards has announced the lineup of 2019 nominees with ifilm popular series ‘Father’ winning a total of six noms.  

The nominees have been picked from works that have been featured in Iran’s national TV as well as domestic home entertainment market from April 2018 to April 2019.

Hafez Awards is an annual awards ceremony which is held honoring cinematic achievements in Iranian cinema. The awards, first presented in 1997, are presented by the Persian cinematic monthly Donya-ye Tasvir (Picture World Magazine).

The 19th edition of the gala is scheduled for July 11, 2019.
